“Movement is life and life is a process. Improve the quality of the process and you improve the quality of life itself”
“Movement is life. Without movement life is unthinkable”
How we encounter the world physically is the foundation of our being. The Feldenkrais Method is a sensory movement practice which engages with this foundation to enhance every aspect of our lives.
Develop strength and flexibility with ease
The world will shows up for us more vibrantly
Less noise in our system supports clearer thinking
Being better oriented makes us feel more secure
“The impossible becomes possible, the possible easy, and the easy elegant”
“What I’m after isn’t flexible bodies, but flexible brains”
“If you know what you’re doing, you can do what you want”
Moshe Feldenkrais (1904–1984) was a physicist, engineer and judo teacher. After a serious knee injury he set out to understand how we learn to move, and developed the method that bears his name.
“We act in accordance with our self-image”
I discovered the Feldenkrais Method 35 years ago and it changed my life. I’d always loved to move, but I had a history of physical problems since birth.
When I was 14-years-old I was advised, “not to move too much and avoid lifting things”. The method opened the way for me to fulfil my dream to become a dancer.
Over the last 25 years I have taught my artistic research in some of the leading dance educations, centres and festivals both in Europe and worldwide.
